The UV-1900i is adual-beam (computing)UV-visible spectrophotometer with Shimadzu's new LO-RAY-LIGH diffraction grating with superior optical characteristics, ultra-fast scanning speed and high photometric repeatability. The new color touch screen design brings a new user-friendly experience, and the UV-1900i has an auto wake-up function, supports wireless data transfer and wireless printing, and is compatible with keyboards and code scanners. The new LabSolutions UV-Vis software comes standard for real-time data transfer and automatic spectral evaluation.

Ultra-fast scanning speed
With ultra-fast scanning speed, spectra can be measured at up to 29,000 nm/min, making it easy to trace chemical reaction processes in a short period of time. Spectra can also be acquired in a short period of time

low stray light
The UV-1900i monochromator uses Shimadzu's LO-RAY-LIGH low stray light diffraction grating, which gives excellent linearity over the measurable absorbance range and reduces testing errors. Accurate measurements can be made even close to the neighborhood of 2 Abs.

High photometric repeatability
High photometric reproducibility, with a photometric reproducibility of 0.0002 Abs (0.5 Abs and 1.0 Abs), reduces measurement variability while more accurately quantifying low concentration samples.
