The Essentia IC-16 Ion Chromatograph was developed on the basis of the Shimadzu LC-16, inheriting its excellent performance and retaining its high flow rate precision, ultra-fast injection speed, very low cross-contamination, and precise temperature stability. The inerted infusion pump, autosampler, and column oven can effectively cope with the stability requirements of acidic and alkaline rinses on the flow path system. The high performance conductivity detector is equipped with a new membrane suppressor, which effectively reduces the background conductivity of the eluent and increases the response of the ions to be measured, thus improving the signal-to-noise ratio. The suppressor does not require additional water, making it easier to use.
