Bag filters are commonly used as air filters in HVAC systems in the industrial and comfort ventilation industries, often as first or second stage filters in ventilation systems. Also, it can be used as a pre-filter in comfort applications, clean process applications. They can also be used in exhaust or return air systems to protect air handling units. Bag filters offer higher dust holding capacity and longer service life than other forms of products.
Type W flanged filters, such as Opakfil, are typically used as second stage filters in ventilation systems, as final stage filters in comfort applications, or as second stage filters in clean process applications. The filters provide excellent filtration efficiency at low resistance and the filters are compact, taking up less installation space.
Densely pleated panel filters play an important role in extending the life and improving the IAQ of air conditioning boxes in residential and commercial buildings, hospitals, and clean process industries. Pre-filters are designed to capture larger particles (e.g., coarse particles and PM10) in the fresh or return air of a ventilation system, and are often used as medium-effect filters for protection in various applications.
The W Compact Filter can typically be used as a final stage filter in HVAC applications such as industrial, commercial and residential, or as a second stage pre-filter in clean plant applications.
Wool rolls are used as pre-filtration in air handling systems, as well as in paint booths and other similar applications.
