The Webster® Webster Hardness Tester is available in three different models. All models operate in the same way, but differ in indentation head design, type of reading and applicable hardness range.

WEBSTER® B Hardness Tester, Part No. B
Designed to measure the hardness of aluminum alloys from 1100 to 7075 series, the 20 scales on the WEBSTER® micrometer cover the hardness range of 25 to 110 on the Rockwell E scale.The WEBSTER® Vickers hardness tester, Model B, is supplied "standard" with a 3/8 inch anvil base and 1/4 inch jaws. Each hardness tester is supplied in a suitable case containing a spare indenter, adjusting wrench and standard test strips.

WEBSTER® Hardness Tester Model B-75, Part Number: B-75
It has been developed to provide a more sensitive response to small variations in the upper range of hardness covered by the Type B hardness tester. This sensitivity is particularly useful when testing mild steel and high strength aluminum alloys. For brass, the B-75's hardness range extends from annealed to full hardness, and the 20 scales on the WEBSTER® Micrometer cover the range from 20 to 100 on the Rockwell Scale B. The WEBSTER® Model B-75 Hardness Tester comes "standard" with a 3/8-inch anvil base and 1/4-inch jaws. Each hardness tester comes in a suitable case containing a spare indenter, adjusting wrench, and standard test strips.

WEBSTER® Hardness Tester Type BB-75, Part No. BB-75
Developed to quickly test the hardness of electroplated copper and brass in the low hardness range, this tester allows the user to test the softness of many common materials. The tester allows the user to test the soft hardness of many common materials. the WEBSTER® Model BB-75 Hardness Tester comes "standard" with a 3/8-inch anvil base and 1/4-inch jaws. Each tester comes in a suitable case containing a spare indenter, adjusting wrench, and standard test strips.
