The RCT basic is suitable for stirring operations up to 20 L (H2O) and the heating of the disk surface up to 310°C. The connection of an external temperature sensor (PT 1000.60 supplied with the main unit) allows the temperature to be measured and controlled directly in the reaction medium.

The RCT basic's aluminum pan provides superior thermal insulation and its maintenance-free EC motor and electronic switching power supply design provides excellent energy efficiency and reduces self-heating during mixing, in line with the laboratory's sustainable and environmentally friendly philosophy.

The RCT basic has been designed with reliable safety features in accordance with the safety standard DIN EN 61010-2-010 and meets all the safety requirements for heated laboratory equipment for unattended operation.
- Tested and certified by TÜV SÜD according to standard IEC 61010-1 (cTÜVus)
- Adjustable disk safety temperature circuit (adjustment tool included with main unit)
- Confirmation mode (operation mode D) prevents setpoints from being changed accidentally. When restarting, confirmation of the safety temperature is required.
- The temperature control function is automatically switched off if the connected external temperature sensor is not immersed or is not immersed correctly in the medium. This function (Error 5 function) is an optional setting and the time is also adjustable.
- Enclosed design (protection class IP42) ensures long service life even under extreme laboratory conditions
